Kris Blake To All Instructors

Kris Blake (Theater), a native Southern California, now calls Nevada home for 23 years. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Youth Agencies Administration and has worked with children and teens her whole life She is the founder and former owner/director of Seedling Theatre Company in Henderson, NV, an educational and performance studio for youth in its 9th year of operation. Prior to that, Kris taught preschool and theatre at American Heritage Academy and Hollywood Kids Academy. She has authored numerous plays and is currently working on a play production book series for children. Kris is mom to three grown children and one cat and has an abundance of hobbies including sewing, writing, art, and design. She is a passionate advocate for the inclusion of positive theatre experiences in children’s education and the vital skills and confidence they engender.
