Edina Flaathen To All Instructors

Edina Flaathen (Elementary Choir/Ukulele) attended Las Vegas Academy of the Arts where she studied vocal music. After graduating, she attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she continued music studies with a heavy focus in classical performance. She is a certified music instructor for the program Music Together which is rooted in Edwin Gordon’s Music Learning Theory. Edina performs in her local church community choir and is often a featured soloist. She is also an original cast member of Hamiltunes: An American Singalong, Las Vegas. She teaches private voice lessons and is passionate about inspiring the youth of today to express themselves through song. Edina is a proud mom to four children who all have musical talents varying from piano, guitar and vocals. She is delighted to sing and to continue making music weekly with SNHPA students.
