Jennifer Williamson To All Instructors

Jennifer Williamson has a long standing relationship with music, dance and theater. She studied cello at Las Vegas Academy of Fine Arts. She also performed in a ballroom dance team and an Irish dance troupe in her teen years. She continued her studies of dance in college attending UNLV, and BYU. She met her husband while working in a 50s Diner in the Stratosphere named Roxy’s Diner, where she sang, danced and performed skits to restaurant patrons. 

After Jennifer began her family, she became lead teacher and artistic director of the Las Vegas branch of a non-profit group called Talent Team. Talent Team taught vocal and musical theater techniques to kids ages 5-18, and they put on community performances. She then enjoyed the opportunity to teach dance and musical theater to a variety of ages at Bunker Dance Center. She actively teaches, and performs ballroom dancing with various dance studios, charter schools, church youth groups, wedding couples, and private parties.

Jennifer has been actively engaged in choral work and music making in her church community. She has taught children’s choirs steadily for the last two decades, she has lead and organized choir performances, and various musical firesides for her regional church community as well. She has sung and played cello for a wide variety of events including funerals, Patriotic presentations, public school concerts, caroling groups, etc. Jennifer has recently joined Dahl Studios as a music instructor of both private and group classes and she loves this opportunity to co-teach with Kerri Dahl at SNHPA. Wherever The Arts are happening around her, she is thrilled to be involved.
